A rare opportunity to sample the lifestyle and opulence of the Renaissance nobility in eastern Tuscany, these elegant apartments offer timeless taste and delightful views of the ancient city of Cortona. The ten apartments, which sleep either 2 or 4 guests, are tastefully and elegantly decorated, with ancient terracotta floor and ceiling tiles, and traditional fittings and furnishings dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. Each apartment has a spacious living room, with a fully equipped cooking area, and a bathroom. Spend your days experiencing traditional Tuscan country life, soak-up the sun in the beautiful gardens, and cool down with a refreshing dip in the marvellous swimming pool.

Travel information

By Car:
From Milan, Rome, Florence:
- Take the A1 highway.
- Exit at Valdichiana.
- Join the highway towards Perugia.
- After a few kilometres, leave the highway near the Farneta Abbey.
- Drive along the S71, which goes across Camucia, and head towards Arezzo.
- Once you pass Il Sodo and its Etruscan tombs, on the right, just a few metres from the street you will see the residence.

By Train:
The closest station is Camucia.
Many trains stop regularly at the Terontola train station, which is just 5 km from Camucia, and 25 km from the residence Il Casale.

Additional fees: Final cleaning EUR 13 per person; Heating/Air conditioning (on request): EUR 9 per day per apartment; Air conditioning is compulsory only from 28 June to 30 August 2008.
