The bathing area can be reached either by a lift carved out of the cliff or by stairs surrounded with bouganvil-laea. It consists of a deck on the rocks above the sea and of a splendid seawater pool. Both areas have deck chairs, sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels. There is also a small bar offering cocktails and soft drinks.

The 17th century chestnut wood beaming ceiling and 18th century cloister and vaulted ceiling have been revived thanks to restoration work. Built on top of a medieval building, the hotel has been carefully restored, keeping the typical 17th century architecture, including the chestnut wood beamed ceiling and cloister, and the vaulted ceiling. The first 2 floors of the palace still show some traces of the original ancient medieval features, whilst the upper floors display Renaissance architecture.
