The bathing area can be reached either by a lift carved out of the cliff or by stairs surrounded with bouganvil-laea. It consists of a deck on the rocks above the sea and of a splendid seawater pool. Both areas have deck chairs, sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels. There is also a small bar offering cocktails and soft drinks.

The hotel has 2 single rooms, 43 double and superior rooms and 4 junior suites and suites. All of the rooms have balconies or terraces facing the sea. The rattan furnishings reflect the typical blue and green colours of the coast, as do the floor tiles from Vietri. Each of the rooms has modern facilities and, in the superior rooms and suites, hydromassage. Extra beds can be provided on request in nearly all of the rooms. We offer communicating rooms to families with children.

l Ristorante (the restaurant) boasts a spectacular, incomparable view of Amalfi. It is air-conditioned and the glass walls on three sides give guests the feeling of being suspended above the sea. The floor is tiled with traditional majolica from Vietri, in colours typical of the Amalfi Coast . The modern furnishings make the restaurant particularly welcoming. During the summer season, guests can choose to dine by candlelight on the marvellous terrace perched above the sea. By Train: Salerno is the nearest railway station (25 km – approximately 60 minutes drive). Naples is the second nearest (70 km – approximately 90 minutes drive) By car: From the South and East: On motorway A3 take junction for Salerno Centro. Turn left following signs for Vietri sul Mare and Amalfi, after driving for about 3 km you will be on the famous Amalfi drive. Once you are in Amalfi follow signs for Positano and 1.5 km from the centre of Amalfi you will find Hotel La Pergola on your right-hand side. From the North: Driving from Rome or Naples, follow directions for motorway A3 and Salerno. On A3 take junction "Vietri sul Mare", follow signs for Amalfi and you will be on the famous Amalfi drive. Travelling by train, the nearest railway station is Salerno. From there to Amalfi a schedule bus service (SITA BUS) almost every hour from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm It takes 70 minutes. In summer time, from Salerno to Amalfi there are also many steamers. They leave from the harbour in front of the railway station. Travelling by car, from Roma you take the highway a2 direction Napoli and from there Salerno. The nearest exit to Amalfi is Vietri sul Mare. 20 Km of beautiful but twisting road on the Amalfi Coast and you are in Amalfi. Our hotel is set right on the Promenade, easy to find. Travelling by plane, the nearest airport is Napoli- Capodichino at 70 Km. From Airport we are able to arrange a taxi transfer.
