The bathing area can be reached either by a lift carved out of the cliff or by stairs surrounded with bouganvil-laea. It consists of a deck on the rocks above the sea and of a splendid seawater pool. Both areas have deck chairs, sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels. There is also a small bar offering cocktails and soft drinks.

The hotel has 2 single rooms, 43 double and superior rooms and 4 junior suites and suites. All of the rooms have balconies or terraces facing the sea. The rattan furnishings reflect the typical blue and green colours of the coast, as do the floor tiles from Vietri. Each of the rooms has modern facilities and, in the superior rooms and suites, hydromassage. Extra beds can be provided on request in nearly all of the rooms. We offer communicating rooms to families with children.

l Ristorante (the restaurant) boasts a spectacular, incomparable view of Amalfi. It is air-conditioned and the glass walls on three sides give guests the feeling of being suspended above the sea. The floor is tiled with traditional majolica from Vietri, in colours typical of the Amalfi Coast . The modern furnishings make the restaurant particularly welcoming. During the summer season, guests can choose to dine by candlelight on the marvellous terrace perched above the sea. On some days of the week, dining pleasure is enhanced with live musical entertainment. In the kitchen, our young brigade of chefs prepares dishes that infuse traditional local cuisine with creativity and imagination. Buffet breakfast, lunch during the low season and dinner are served in Il Ristorante. Long trousers are requested at dinner. All the rooms have been tiled with majolica from Vietri, whose original drawings have been studied and reproduced by a local pottery painter. The rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with pieces that match the ancient style of the place. Each room carries the name of some of the most important Dukes of the Marine Republic. The 17th century chestnut wood beaming ceiling and 18th century cloister and vaulted ceiling have been revived thanks to restoration work. All feature air conditioning, minibar, safety deposit box, direct-dial phone and satellite TV. Some rooms benefit from a terrace or French balcony. Travelling by train, the nearest railway station is Salerno. From there to Amalfi a schedule bus service (SITA BUS) almost every hour from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm It takes 70 minutes. In summer time, from Salerno to Amalfi there are also many steamers. They leave from the harbour in front of the railway station. Travelling by car, from Roma you take the highway a2 direction Napoli and from there Salerno. The nearest exit to Amalfi is Vietri sul Mare. 20 Km of beautiful but twisting road on the Amalfi Coast and you are in Amalfi. Our hotel is set right on the Promenade, easy to find. Travelling by plane, the nearest airport is Napoli- Capodichino at 70 Km. From Airport we are able to arrange a taxi transfer.
