-From the Naples Airport- Follow the signs for the Salerno Reggio Calabria freeway (Autostrada A3). Take the Castellamare di Stabia exit (about 20 km after the Naples toll booth) and follow the sign for Sorrento. After the first tunnel, follow the signs for Agerola-Amalfi. Go over the Agerola pass and continue on to the Amalfi Coast. Take a left turn and after 50 m on your right, you will find the Hotel La Ninfa. -From Rome- Follow the sign for the "Autostrada A1" Milano-Napoli south and follow the signs for the "Autostrada A3" Pompei-Salerno-Reggio Calabria. Take the Castellamare di Stabia exit and follow the above instructions.

Hotel La Bussola has been awarded with the certificate of international standard UNI ISO 14001-04 for the attention paid to the creation of an environmental-friendly atmosphere. From mid June to mid September, on the rocks in front of the hotel a jetty is available with complimentary deck-chair and sun umbrellas for bathing facility Only 200 metres from the hotel there are two beaches. From the harbour there is a boat-service to many other beaches along the coast.

Travelling by train, the nearest railway station is Salerno. From there to Amalfi a schedule bus service (SITA BUS) almost every hour from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm It takes 70 minutes. In summer time, from Salerno to Amalfi there are also many steamers. They leave from the harbour in front of the railway station. Travelling by car, from Roma you take the highway a2 direction Napoli and from there Salerno. The nearest exit to Amalfi is Vietri sul Mare. 20 Km of beautiful but twisting road on the Amalfi Coast and you are in Amalfi. Our hotel is set right on the Promenade, easy to find. Travelling by plane, the nearest airport is Napoli- Capodichino at 70 Km. From Airport we are able to arrange a taxi transfer.

The centre of Amalfi is located 700 metres from the hotel, along the Gulf of Salerno, which starts in Capri and runs via the Amalfi Coast to the picturesque cities of Amalfi, Positano and Ravello. Amalfi has a unique location in a deep valley between cliffs and the bright blue Mediterranean Sea. The small, colourful houses that are located between vineyard terraces make for a splendid panorama that is especially stunning when seen from the sea.

From Naples Airport: take the motorway road (which is the ring road that by-passes Naples)and then from this highway take the Salerno-Reggio Calabria exit.You will then come to the Autostrada del Sole Toll post where you will be asked to pay the standard toll. Along the motorway you will see Mount Vesuvius on the left hand side. You will pass the towns of Ercolano, Torre Annunziata, Torre del Greco and Pompei. Take the Castellamare exit, once you are through the toll post follow the arrows to Amalfi/Costiera Amalfitana. You will be driving along the Lattari Mountains through the towns of Gragnano, Agerola, Furore etc until you arrive at the Amalfi Drive cross roads, once there you turn left towards Amalfi and after about 500mt you will see the Hotel Bellevue on the left. From Rome: Take the A1 “Autostrada Del Sole Roma/Napoli” (highway - green sign post) follow this through to Naples toll post. After paying the toll continue until you see the sign post (green) for the A3 Pompei/Salerno/Reggio-Calabria this motorway will by-pass the city of Naples and take you to the exit toll post where you will be asked to pay the standard toll (and then follow instructions as above).
