This rustic, fully-restored farm house from the 17th Century is situated on the pleasant hillside of San Pietro a Cegliolo with the stunning Val di Chiana plain spread out below. The five-year restoration project has succeeded in reviving the antique magnificence of the hotel and its surrounding village, emphasizing its traditional characteristics, such as the stone façade, the interior beams, the cotto pavements and the fire places made of serena stone. Outside, the little alleys from the farm buildings lead to the swimming pool, the wonderful arcade of the 1600's and an antique well which embellishes the courtyard. Explore the stunning surroundings by hiring one of the hotel’s mountain bikes or going horse-riding. Alternatively, after a busy day spent visiting the ancient city of Cortona, located just 4 km from the hotel, you could unwind with a game of table tennis, or play seven-a-side football on the pitch.

By Car: - Leave the A1 motorway (Autostrada del Sole) at the Val di Chiana exit. - After going through the tollgate take the Siena-Perugia highway towards Perugia. - Take the exit for Cortona as marked. - From here, take the SS71 as far as Camucia, then follow the signs for Arezzo. - After a few kilometres, at Tavarnelle, turn right at the traffic lights and follow the signs for Relais Borgo San Pietro. By Plane: The nearest airports are Perugia (60 km), Florence Peretola (120 km) and Rome Fiumicino (200 km), all less than 3 hours from the Relais Borgo San Pietro. From each airport, you can hire a car or take public transport into the cities, then take a train to Cortona-Camucia. By Train: From Cortona-Camucia train station the best way to reach the hotel is by taxi.

This is a small, welcoming hotel with 7 well-furnished, fully-equipped bedrooms offering luxurious holiday accommodation in one of the prettiest parts of Tuscany. Most of the rooms have marvellous views over the Valdichiana and Lake Trasimeno, the others look out over an enclosed, furnished garden area - perfect for reading or a relaxing cup of tea with local biscuits and delicacies. Supplied with magnetic keys, you will have excellent freedom of movement, and there is very good access for the handicapped, both inside and outside the hotel. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, and furnished with all modern conveniences. The 2 apartments are located in an independent building in front of the entrance of the hotel. Apartment 2+1: a comfortable double bedroom with a single sofa-bed; kitchen/dining room equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, and hotplates for cooking; one toilet and one bathroom with a bath. From all the windows there is a wonderful view on the valley. Independent air conditioning and heating. Buffet breakfast, included. By Car; It can be easily accessed by the Autostrada del Sole A1. - Take the Valdichiana exit, state motorway S.S. 75 to Perugia, - Exit in the direction Cortona, or exit to Castiglione del Lago. -Turn right and take S.S. 71 after Terontola, Riccio and Camucia. -At the 2nd traffic-lights turn to the right towards Cortona, drive round the external walls and follow the sign for Corys. The Palazzo is an enchanting late 19th century country building fully renovated and restored in 2005. The holiday farm Il Palazzo consists of six different apartments (from two to six people).
