By train The Santa Maria Novella railway station is only 200 metres away. You can easily reach the hotel in a 5-minute walk: from Piazza della Stazione reach Piazza Santa Maria Novella. Take Via degli Avelli, walking along the left side of Santa Maria Novella church. Then, from Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, take Via Belle Donne, right in front of you. By airplane The Firenze-Amerigo Vespucci airport is approximately 8 km away. How to reach us from the central train station (Santa Maria Novella): - by taxi (very close, so fairly cheap) - by bus (numbers 1, 7, 10, 17, 2nd or 3rd stop depending on where you get on, getting off in Piazza San Marco) - on foot (7-8 minutes) From the airport (Amerigo Vespucci, Florence): - by taxi (15 minutes, 5 km away) - by bus, special "Vola in Bus" service to (and from) the Santa Maria Novella railway station (see above after that) From the airport (Galileo Galilei, Pisa): - by train: direct connection from within the airport to the Santa Maria Novella railway station (see above after that) By car: Recommended exit from any direction is "Firenze Nord" then follow directions to the centre of town ("centro"). The area around the hotel is limited traffic only but you can get in to unload your luggage (in this case have your license plate number ready to be given to our staff so as not to receive a ticket). For parking there are several garages within walking distance (5 minutes, one of them is in Piazza della Libertà, EUR 15 per day).

From S.Maria Novella Station take the exit on the left, at the lamp cross the street and turn on the right passing in front of Mc Donald). Next cross turn on the left in Largo Alinari and go straight on (Via Nazionale). After that turn into the second street on the right (Via dell’Ariento) that’s very easy to find, here starts the well known open market of San Lorenzo. Next take the second on the left (Via S. Antonino). After a few steps you will arrive in Piazza del Mercato Centrale (Central Market Square). We are on the right side (green neon light “Hotel”). We are 7/8 minutes walking far from the station and your reference point is Piazza del Mercato Centrale.

A train runs between Pisa airport and Santa Maria Novella station, the train takes about 90 minutes.

Please note: Hotel Colorado is located on the 2nd floor of a building without lift. The Reception is open from 8:00 to 24:00. After check-in, you will have your room key that will allow you access to the hotel 24 hours a day. April, May, June, September, October, New Years Eve and Easter are considered high season. If you wish to visit the Uffizi Gallery the hotel recommends making museum reservations 2 or 3 weeks in advance.

If you plan arrive at the bed and breakfast with your car, please contact the reception with the car’s registration number. When you arrive, you can stop in front of the hotel to leave your bags. Hotel staff will then give you directions to the Parterre car park, which isonly 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. By Train: From S.M.Novella railway station, take any bus towards Piazza S. Marco. By Taxi: The ride from the airport is only a 15/20 minute ride, depending on traffic. At night taxis charge a supplement.
