The number 25 bus also runs regularly from the station to the resort. The Campo Marte and Firenze Rifredi stations, where the Intercity trains stop, are just 4 km from Eden Rock Resort. Centrally placed in the heart of the pedestrian zone three blocks north of the Duomo, this former old apartment building just opened after an 18-month transformation. The efficient and helpful front desk can book tours and excursions, restaurants and onward travel. A special attention is given to the children: childbeds, highchairs, anatomic and suffocating preventing pillows are available on request and free of charge.

Each airy Suite is identically designed and furnished by craftsmen - you get a comfortable bedroom, kitchenette and living room, all mod cons and uncluttered, sleek decor. All have teak parquet floors, calm off-white walls, soft beige furnishings and the occasional colour accent - relaxing orange sofas in the standard suites, or light blue throws on the beds. The furniture is mostly modern Italian designer with some Philippe Starck pieces and the odd family antique. Original double height double-glazed windows are hung with fine cream curtains with blackout and shutters that ensure a perfect night's sleep on the Simmons mattresses. Bathrooms are spacious, well-fitted (hairdryers are included) and classy; black marble sink and shower or bath surrounds contrast with white walls.

We do not have a restaurant or a breakfast hall because all our Suites have a fully equipped kitchen, but we have a special arrangements for discounts in some nearby bars and cafes. We take care of the dish washing and the cleaning of the kitchen every morning!

Centrally placed in the heart of the pedestrian area, three blocks north of the Dome and close to the David by Michelangiolo. Private garage with valet service and public parking just behind the building. 15 minutes from the motorway (suggested exit: Firenze Sud), 20 minutes by car from the airport and 5 minutes from the central station of Santa Maria Novella.

Residence Hilda - Hotel - Travel information

From the airport: air-shuttle every 30 minutes to the central station. From the station you can take a taxi to the hotel. From the motorway: exit at "Firenze Sud", turn left at the first traffic light and follow the main street until Piazza Donatello, a square with a cemetery in the middle. Go around the cemetery as you went back and turn right at the traffic light. Follow the indications to the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital. Right after the hospital turn the first on the right, arrive at the STOP, turn right again and immediately left and left again. Residence Hilda is on your left, next door with the Robiglio confectionery and in front of the self service wash and dry Lavarapido.

Residence Hilda - Hotel - Important information

The hotel's reception is open from Monday to Saturday from 08:00 - 13:00 and from 15:00 - 20:00. If you plan to arrive on Sunday or during the closing times, please inform the reception in advance so staff can be ready to check you in.
