From the Mestre By-pass, take the Porto Exit. At the big railroad bridge, turn left for the center of Mestre. Go straight towards Corso del Popolo and turn right at the traffic light at Via Torino. Go straight, and at the traffic light turn left on Viale Ancona. At the first traffic light turn right: this is Via Forte Marghera, go ahead 100 meters and you will see the sign for the Hotel Alexander on the left.
By train

If you are coming in your own car, from the motorway, take the Mestre ring road and then the "Via Castellana" exit. From the roundabout, follow signs for the Centre, going over a small flyover and straight on through 4 sets of traffic lights: at the 5th traffic light, turn right into Via Sansovino.
